Ryan Poplaski, SAMS® Surveyor Associate, owns and operates Marine Tech Survey. Based in the Seacoast of NH, he enjoys all aspects of boating on lakes, rivers, and in the ocean.
His experience comes from years of recreational boating and graduating from the Atlantic School of Marine Survey. This education has provided valuable insights into the complexities of maritime operations and safety standards.
A passion for boating developed early on. It led to time as crew on sailing vessels. It also led to years as an owner/operator of motor vessels. This experience fueled his drive to specialize in marine surveying. He applied his knowledge to assess and educate on the safety of marine vessels. He also focused on their compliance. He prides himself on demonstrating a commitment to excellence and staying informed of industry standards and best practices.
You can expect a marine surveyor who possesses a keen eye for detail, and stays up to date with the most current marine standards.
How We Work
Marine Tech Survey is operated by Ryan Poplaski, SA, a SAMS® Surveyor Associate specializing in Yachts & Small Craft. We accept assignments for pre-purchase surveys, insurance surveys, and appraisals/valuations.
We focus on practical, objective findings that help buyers, owners, and insurers make clear decisions. Reports are written to be straightforward, photo-supported when appropriate, and organized so you can quickly understand safety items, recommended repairs, and overall condition.
